2. Name of the Programme : Inauguration of 'Samajsanvad Wallpaper
3. Objectives of the Programme :1) To enhance experiential learning slkills among the students.
2) To poster the new social awareness skills & knowledge among the students.
3) To develop communication skill among the students.
4. Outcomes of the Programme : After completion of study visit students able to:
1) Help to inculcate research aptitude and creative thinking among the students.
2) Help to poster cocurricular and extra curricular skills among the students.
5. Brief Summary of the Programme:
Department of Sociology successfully organized the inauguration of the “SamajSamvad” Wall Wallpaper on 30th August 2024. The theme of the wall Paper was “Shahu Maharaj’s Hostel Movement.” the program began with an introductory speech by Dr. K. M. Desai. There were 22 students participated in this programme. Prin. Dr. R. K. Shandediwan was chairperson of this programme, observed all the posters made by students and discussed with each students. Dr. Pratima Powar and Dr. Archana Jagatkar graced the occasion as the chief guests, sharing their valuable insights on the significance of Shahu Maharaj’s contribution to education and social reform. the event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Sandeep Chaure, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants. the inauguration was a meaningful initiative to spread awareness about Shahu Maharaj’s efforts in promoting education through the hostel movement.
